Job Openings

Instructor

We are looking for passionate, energetic, and community-driven instructors to join our growing studio team. The ideal candidate is experienced in teaching Pilates Mat, Springboard, Reformer, and/or Barre classes and is committed to creating an encouraging, inclusive, and motivating environment for clients of all fitness levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safe, engaging, and effective group fitness classes

  • Provide hands-on guidance, modifications, and support to clients

  • Create a welcoming and positive class experience

  • Build relationships with clients and foster a strong sense of community

  • Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes

  • Maintain studio cleanliness and organization before and after classes

  • Encourage client growth, consistency, and confidence through mindful movement

Qualifications

  • Certified in Pilates Mat, Reformer, Springboard, and/or Barre instruction (Pilates Instructors MUST be certified in Mat AND either Springboard or Reformer).

  • Prior teaching experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for health, wellness, and helping others

  • Ability to motivate and connect with clients of varying fitness levels

  • CPR/AED certification preferred


Contract Admin/Personal Assistant 

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Admin/Personal Assistant to support both daily operations at The Pilates & Wellness Studio and occasional personal assistant tasks for the studio owner. This is a part-time contract position for approximately 5–10 hours per week, with a mix of remote and onsite responsibilities.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with social media management (primarily Instagram), including posting content, creating stories/reels, and helping maintain a consistent online presence

  • Building and scheduling the weekly eNewsletter

  • Updating the studio booking/scheduling system

  • Taking photos and video content for marketing and social media

  • Assisting with studio organization and management, including inventory checks and keeping the space clean, welcoming, and visually organized

  • Helping answer emails, phone calls, and client inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Supporting in-person events, workshops, and studio pop-ups as needed

  • Running occasional errands, including shopping for studio inventory/products (online or locally)

  • Assisting with receiving, unboxing, organizing, and transporting studio shipments/products between the owner’s home and the studio (located one block apart)

  • Occasional personal assistant tasks for the owner, including helping care for the owner’s dog (feeding/taking outside — he’s a sweet boy!) and overall household management

Looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organized, dependable, and self-sufficient

  • Comfortable multitasking and taking initiative

  • Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented

  • Interested in health, wellness, fitness, or the Pilates/barre space

  • Comfortable using social media and basic tech platforms/apps

  • Able to work independently while also communicating clearly and consistently

  • Flexible with occasional onsite needs or event support

  • Must be comfortable with dogs!

Position Details:

  • Part-time contract role (5–10 hours/week)

  • Hybrid: remote + onsite at the studio

  • Flexible scheduling with some availability for onsite tasks/events preferred
